Oh heyyy! We are Sam + Bryt, wife and wife photographers based in West Lafayette, Indiana who document REAL moments for adventurous couples who enjoy hiking, traveling, and snuggling their pets! We don't press our couples to take "perfectly posed, cookie-cutter images", (heck no!), we make working with us feel more like a double date on the trails then a photo session! Sam + Bryt are photographers who specialize in elopements and intimate weddings for ALL couples, including LGBTQ+ couples. It started with a flight to Spain and a dream to bring back memories that lived on in print form. From then on, I pursued my a passion for photographs that live outside your screen. I love capturing moments that you want to hold in your hands or hang on your walls. There is something wonderful about holding on to an album that makes me smile. From your grandmother seeing you in a suite for your wedding day to holding your spouse after the ceremony, these moments are fleeting and memories fade with time. With pictures, these moments help you remember how you felt that day and live out the ones you may have missed in the blur of the day.

When it comes down to it, the two of you are all that *really* matters and I want to make sure you don't sacrifice where it counts. I help you plan your day, give timeline guidance, DIY tips and tricks, and SO MUCH MORE. I'm an elopement photographer, yes, but I'm also your biggest confidence boost, detail coordinator, and an artist. I love finding beauty in the shadows and working with creative posing and direction to help make sure you not only get amazing images but you get a gallery that reminds you how it felt to be there. Your wedding gallery tells the whole story. Each word, image, feeling, coming together to create a strong sense of nostalgia. Hi, I’m Sierra!

I’m an adventurous wedding and elopement photographer. My perfect Saturday usually involves packing up mountain bikes in my 1983 VW campervan, hitting the trails, and then finding a sweet spot to camp for the night with my husband and our sweet pup, Kai.

Photographing adventurous elopements fits in so well to who I am because to be completely honest I’m an adventurer first and a photographer second. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE photography, but I’m an adventurer to my core. I’ve solo backpacked over 1,500 miles through Washington, Oregon, and California, so when I say that I can help you plan a backpacking or hiking elopement, I mean it. My husband and I recently had a backpacking elopement ourselves, so I know what it’s like to plan the day as a bride. I’m here for you as not only a photographer, but a resource.

My approach to photography is laid back and easy going. I want to capture your story in an authentic way. While I do offer posing suggestions, they will be natural to who you are as a couple and the energy each of you bring.

Your elopement day is one of the most important days of your life. I don’t take that lightly. I’m honored to be able to capture the big exciting moments and the significant smaller moments in between.

Overall, I’m not only your photographer. I’m here to get to know you, help you plan your day, fix your tie, hold your bouquet, and tell your story.

Photography has been a part of my family for generations! My grandfather was a professional photographer and was always posing us kiddos for photo shoots as we grew up. I always played with his camera and took different photography classes around town. I wanted to be a professional photographer and make a living out of it but I didn’t know how to at the time. I put my camera down for a couple years and joined the working world of finance. 
After a couple years in that industry I felt unfulfilled and unmotivated. I started thinking about photography again. I met some incredible photographers that allowed me to shadow them and they ended up helping me create Two One Photography. 9 years later photography has been my calling and my passion. Two One Photography exploded and I am so grateful  for that. 

I am so thankful to be able to be a part of weddings and photo shoots. I love having the opportunity to  tell the story of a moment and event that is so important in a couple and a family’s  life. I look at old photographs of my family and things that are important and special to me and I feel luck I am able to provide a family with something they cherish forever. 
In the past 11 years I have travelled the world photographing all sorts of events and shoots. I have photographed over 500 weddings and 2000 photo shoots.  I have won The Knot Magazines Best of Weddings for 9 years as well as Wedding Wire’s Couple’s Choice Award for 8. I love being able to tell people’s love stories in photographs.
