I’m Meaghan (she/her), the person behind Rhode Tripper Photography – your wedding and elopement photographer and personal guide to crafting an intimate experience that is all about the two of you! Your day demands to be captured in an authentic way that showcases the passion and uniqueness of you as a couple. That’s where I come in. I love to document both people and places, and believe that every moment and event that I have the pleasure of photographing is an adventure – regardless of whether it’s in your backyard or on a mountain top. I don’t just like to show up, take photos, and leave. I become truly invested in your day and telling the story of you through my photographs. That’s why my process involves spending lots of time getting to know you through questionnaires, coffee dates, mood boards, timeline planning, and more. I have spent over 7 years of my life now in the wedding industry working as a bridal stylist, an event coordinator and now in photography so I have a wealth of industry knowledge and am just drawn to the magic of weddings and elopements. What does that mean for you? I know how to fluff your train and bustle your dress, have an eye for the little details, and also have an understanding of the importance of crafting a perfectly flexible timeline that allows for capturing beautiful lighting and organic moments. I always have an emergency bag with me full of the essentials – not just my loads of camera gear – so that you won’t have to worry about a thing! A little more about me – I live in Rhode Island with my husband, Evan, and our rescue pup, Arya. I’m a movie buff, love to cook, and speak in frequent sarcasm.
