Hi there!! I'm Sammy, AKA the face behind the camera of SM photography! This all started with a 9 year old family shared camera, some friends, hard work, and lots of support! I first began shooting when I was a Freshman in high school, on a borrowed Nikon from my mother. I would take pictures of my friends for fun and eventually it grew into where I am now! I have taken all the classes, workshops, and watched every Youtube video to better myself. Beyond all of that, I consider myself self-taught because I am constantly striving for growth and driven by passion. The key to photography is simply experience, going out and shooting everyday. I could continue to list why I am qualified, but honestly I learn something new and valuable from every session. I will always continue to work on my art and be fueled by my creativity. I have always had a passion for storytelling and I consider photography to be another form of that. I am based in Middle TN but my services extend all over the state! I'd love to travel to you!
